Cartoon Autopsy: God Therapy

I have found religious subject matter to be a rich source of ideas for my cartoons. Biblical stories run deep in our collective conscious to the point that even non-religious people are familiar with most of them. 

I grew up in a very religious environment. Evangelical Christian beliefs and practices were a prominent part of my childhood. So, for me, maybe more than others who didn’t grow up Christian or very religious, these subjects pack even more of a punch. Plus it’s just fun to subvert something that is normally taken so seriously and find the humor and absurdity in it.
