Funny Times Podcast

There’s a new podcast about cartoons in town! I’ve had a number of my cartoons run in the Funny Times. If you’re not familiar, it’s a print publication that comes out monthly that is chock full of cartoons and humor. Go get a subscription if you don’t have one!

When I was tabling at the New Orleans Bookfair recently, I met Rachel Lee who, turns out, works for Funny Times even though she lives in New Orleans and Funny Times is based in Cleveland. She told me they just started putting out a Funny Times podcast. I listened to the first three episodes and so far they are great.

I have listened to every single episode of the New Yorker cartoon caption contest podcast, the Cartoon Pad, and Is There Something In This?, which, as far as I know, were the only podcast specifically talking about gag cartoons. So I was thrilled to find out there is one more podcast where I can listen to people talk about cartoons which, next to brainstorming and drawing them is maybe my next favorite past time.
